Reiki Healing 

Reiki is a form on "hands-on" natural healing using spiritually guided life force energy. Reiki has been around for almost 100 years, the healing practice originated in Japan and has since made it's way across the world. Why you may ask...because it works! It has grown in popularity due to it's healing and relaxation results. 

 

Have you ever noticed when your energy is out of balance you may feel imbalanced emotionally in the form of anxiety, stress or depression? Sometimes this imbalance can come in the form of digestive issues or chronic tension. When this energy is out of balance, it is best to balance energy with energy. This is what Reiki does. 

Reiki is a stress reduction and relaxation technique that promotes well being and pain relief through energetic transfers. It is wonderful for relaxation, boosting energy reserves, reducing stress, fear and anxiety, accelerating self-healing and promotes harmony and balance. Reiki compliments other healing methods very well.

DO I NEED TO ARRIVE EARLY TO MY SESSION?

     Yes, just like any session here at The Salt Oasis, please arrive about 15 minutes early for your session. This      will ensure you have plenty of time to fill out your paperwork (if it is your first visit) and get your session          started on time. If it is not your first session we still ask that you arrive a little early. 

DO I KEEP MY CLOTHES ON DURING A SESSION?

     Yes, you will stay fully clothed during a Reiki session. You can wear what ever clothing you are comfortable      in. Usually people will wear their normal clothes or come in gym attire. Either is fine with us. 

DOES THE REIKI PRACTITIONER TOUCH ME?

     The Reiki practitioner will only touch certain parts of your body such as your head, your feet and                      sometimes your shoulders and knees. But they will not touch or massage you as a LMT would. 

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT AFTER A SESSION?

     After a session it is important to allow yourself time to fully wake your senses back up (some people will          go to sleep during a session). It is also important that you ground yourself for even as little as 5 minutes.        Grounding yourself can be as simple as walking barefoot in the salt room or barefoot outside. It is just             important that you connect your energy back to nature after a session.
